The 100 amp fuses are square looking with a clear window to see if it's blown. Personally, I would check this with a volt meter rather than rely on the sight window. I have in-depth experience in electronic connectors and will tell you I have only seen this type fuse in the boating industry. Any large boating / marine supply co should have them. They are also available on Ebay. They may be used in other industries like automotive, motorcycle, ATV etc but I have yet to ever see them outside the Marine / boating applications until I found these on my Raven. The fuses are located behind the right rear tire where you must remove a cover plate to expose them. There should be 1 for drive motor and 1 each for each of the deck motors. (3 total) I suppose you could swap one from the deck motor if you wanted to test the drive motor fuse. Also, there are at least 4 mfgs for these fuses and the numbers may not match up between brands (Buss, Little fuse and several others) just be sure it's that type and 100 amp. Remove your key, disconnect battery and use caution during replacement. The electric drive motor is powered by engine when running and 48v battery when in electric mode. If drive fuse is blown, it shouldn't move in either mode. If you can't find the fuse or where to get them then let me know.

Hello All. I just ran across this board and thought I'd join. I bought an MVP-7100 from Lowes on July 4th this year. It was a return and I got a really good deal on it.
it seems to be a really nice unit. It mows good and so far, pretty happy with it. The only thing that could be better, is the gas pedal sensitivity. It seems to be very touchy. Other than that, I think it is a really good unit.
i see where Dwight was able to get the service manual/wiring diagrams. I would love to be able to take a look at those. Is there any way to either post those or get them somewhere?
I would like to take a look at the electronics side of things on this. I have been in the electronics industry for nearly 35 years. Thanks.

Hi, I just found this forum and purchased a Raven MPV7100B last month. It was a demo unit with 43 hours on it but other than needing to clean the mower deck up it works great. So far I have only used it to pull my DR Wood Chipper and run power tools including electric chainsaws on my farm. I have only had 2 issues with it, first the power switch for the headlights failed and DGP sent me a replacement ASAP. Second my 12 year old Motörhead Son wants to drive it all of the time and doesn't want to let me use it! Since I'm not mowing anymore this year I decided to build a simple wall mounted hanger for the mower deck out of a piece of 4"X4"X1/4" steel angle that I had I. The scrap pile. My wall studs are on 16" centers so it's total length is 20". It's very simple but works great and keeps the mower deck up and out of the way. The only issue is that it's not easy to get a good hold on the deck to lift it up and hang it. I'll paint it next year after I put the deck back on the Raven next year.

Good idea. The deck is a two person job.

Greetings all from Taunton, MA. I purchased my Raven via special order through Lowes (as they don't seem to carry them in New England). I've had it for about two and a half years now and just came across your forum. Like many of you, I have had a few issues. This past spring one of the motor controllers failed on the mower deck. I called and DGP opted to send me an entirely new deck under warranty. Most of what I use this for is lawn mowing and to haul firewood (via trailer). I've been impressed so far, especially given the fact that the woods that I harvest firewood from are far from a flat and level terrain. Because of this, the suspension gets a bit of a work out and now unfortunately my left front wheel has developed a bunch of play at the axle (which I suspect is a worn bushing). DGP is checking with their technicians to see what I need for parts. I have talked with Mary every time I have called and she has been very helpful and more than generous in customer support.
Have any of you been running the extra traction tires? If so, would you mind sharing what they cost you? Are they only available through DGP?
Dwight, I'm sending an email to you hoping you wouldn't mind sharing the service manual and wiring diagram files with me. Thank you!

Just want to address the rumors about DGP going out of business. I just got off of the phone with Kim from DGP and I asked her if the company was going out of business. She informed me that DGP is still in business producing and selling generators but that the Raven MPV is currently not in production. Full support and parts will continue to be available for the Raven MPV 7100 and I ordered some parts for my Raven.

Hi All, i just bought a 7100 used. it's like new. 20 hrs on the generator and only used to mow once? the guy selling it for a customer had to clean the carb because it had been sitting. he said it was a 2015. i hope it's a later version than the early ones that had problems. does anyone know how to tell from the serial or chasis# or on the machine? There's a 13 and a 15 mixed into the serial# so i don't know. also, i don't see anything about an oil filter in the manual online. I'm also wondering about those wide knobby tires. I don't see them or prices on the raven website. Thanks, tomt

I have those tires and they make a difference like Night and Day. It can climb some pretty steep hills with the tires and I rarely get stuck mowing my property. IF they ever come out with a AWD unit I will be first in line to purchase!
