Check the high/low speed selector on the right side of the unit just ahead of the right rear tire. Check the two fuses under the operator's seat. I believe there is another fuse on the unit but I can't remember where it is. Someone here should remember.

It moved with the motor running, but would not in electric mode. I actually mowed for about 30 minutes with my Raven and then it quit moving all together. I checked the high/low switch several times, no luck. It mows great! But not very good if it quits after 30 minutes. I will be calling tomorrow to see if I can get hold of the help desk.

When you say it quit moving all together while in gas mode, did the gas engine continue to run or did the engine quit completely ?

The gas engine runs. The raven will not move.

Thanks. I'd go along with sidewinder60 and pull the 48 volt battery. It comes out fairly easy but it weighs a flippin ton. I put a motorcycle jack under the battery pack before I backed all the bolts out and that worked well. You can probably get one of the auto parts places like O'Reilly or Autozone to perform a check on each individual battery for free but you'll have separate them electrically before a test will work.

I've read all the reviews and information available on the Raven. Still have a number of questions:
1. Getting through to customer service seems to take forever. Anyone noticed an improvement in that problem area?
2. Can't find anything on the financial health of Denver Global ... a three year warranty is no good if the company dies! Status? Info?
3. The company website still lists Lowe's as a dealer, but my local store told me that no Lowe's now is a dealer. So is there a national dealer?
4. In a similar vein, where are the current service centers ... what's listed on the company website is not accurate?
5. Are there any parts and accessories available? The website is NO help.
The Raven seems like a great idea. But, it appears to be plagued with everal problem areas. The mower components, in particular, seem to cause lots of problems. Experiences?
Thanks, everyone!

I also agree with everything just said! I would like to buy one, but I can no answer from the company, nor do they return e-mails. I Think the product looks good on paper, but if they will not talk to a potential customer BEFORE buying, I see my chances after I buy being very slim. I live in Oregon with no service or dealers so I just need to know what to do if I do have a problem. Thanks!

For electric mode on mine i have to start the process with key off, drive switch in N (not fwd or rev)and foot on brake. turn key 2 clicks to the right then one click to the left. you should then see a panel light for batt to come on, then put in either fwd or rev and go. (turning key full right energizes system, 1 click left is battery mode) but wont work if it is in fwd or rev when you start this process.

To the New user with issue moving in electric mode, pull the cover off behind the right rear tire, you will see 3 each 100 amp "marine" style fuses. The 1 on the left side is for the drive motor, the 2 on the right are for deck motors. (1 100amp fuse for each electric motor) Very possible you blew the drive motor fuse if you had some event that made the motor stop suddenly, ran into something or tried to pull something that caused an overload. I believe if the drive fuse is blown it will not move in gas or electric mode. They should probably have made these with auto reset circuit breakers vs fuses. If you lock up a deck blade from a stick or something check the fuses on the right side of that panel. Let us know if that got ya fixed-
