Has far a 48 volt battery pack they told me it will ship for free no charge. But if you see on dash battery light on it the voltage regulator not the pack just finished installing one solved the problem 100% fixed runs as great as 4 seasons ago.

My Raven will not go forward or backward after I mow a few rounds. It will move again after it sets for some time. I called raven and they sent me a new battery pack. It still happened after I put the new battery pack on. The mower deck has been replaced as well. It will not move in gas or all electric mode when this happens. I cannot reach raven. Any thoughts?

I can't understand what you are saying they are sending mine no charge and mine are way over 2 years old. Question did you ever fill out warranty paper work and get the cover which they send to the people who have completed it?

Barry, the Raven will not move at all if the master Gen switch is on! Make sure you have the Gen switch set to off position!!! If thats not it then check the hi low gear selector underneath to make sure it's firmly in either hi or low, very possible you ran over something or hit a hard bump that now has it in between gears. Just remember it will not cut grass or engage the blades if you put it in the high gear mode. Couple other things to look at if neither of these works. Either way, reply back if this solved your issue. It's most likely going to be a very simple something that you have overlooked. Please reply- My Raven will not go forward or backward after I mow a few rounds. It will move again after it sets for some time. I called raven and they sent me a new battery pack. It still happened after I put the new battery pack on. The mower deck has been replaced as well. It will not move in gas or all electric mode when this happens. I cannot reach raven. Any thoughts?

I have checked the high/low switch it is in the low position. The generator switch is in the off position. This is not a single occurrence. It has done this the last six times I have tried to mow with it.

When I attempt to mow I get about 3 complete rounds around my yard and the raven just stops moving. The mower deck continues to run. But the raven will not go forward or move in reverse. After it sets for a day it will operate again. Sometimes it takes a week or longer before it will operate again. During this down period I can start the engine, it runs good and the mower deck will operate, it just will not go forward or backward. I followed the charging instructions when I installed the new Battery pack but I haven't checked to see if it is fully charged or charging properly. I will do that today after I push it back to my workshop. I tried to mow with it yesterday to see how long it would mow. It only went two rounds on an acre track. Thank you for taking your time to help me.

Has anyone had the part by the 'driver' side wheel grind when moving? I took the cover off and the part that spins is what is grinding. There were metal shavings everywhere. Anyone have an idea what it is/how to fix or what to replace?

I checked the charge voltage while running. Charging at 68 volts. It is the same with the mower deck running. Yesterday after the raven had set for two days it started moving again. It went forward for about 15 minutes. I turned the mower deck on after two rounds around my yard it just quit going forward and would not move in reverse but the mower deck was still running. This thing has me baffled.

My guess would be the Drive Motor Controller(DMC) is going bad. I am currently replacing both Blade Motor Controllers BMC's) on mine. Give Amber a call. Do you have the handy dandy service Manual?
