With the shorter days and still growing grass and dropping leaves this is the second summer/fall of mowing in the early evening. I have extra lights on my Raven but I'm amazed at how much easier it is to see when mowing in the dark. Anyone else do it?

Oh yeah, I do it too. It is just as easy and like the other user pointed out, it is cooler. I also made a rear platform that replaced the hitch so I can haul bags of dirt around for my wife. When she drives it, she does not know how to back up with a trailer, so the platform works great. It will hold 3 large bags of dirt, so she can garden until her heart is content. Lol. God bless.

Yes, I get caught mowing with lights as well. Raven headlights are like narrow-beam spots, however; wide-angle fog type lights would be so much better for seeing where and how far to turn, though standard Raven housing would obstruct fog beams wide spread. I would like to add wide-angle lights, but don't want to install them where not protected from branches, etc.

I have a small, maybe 10", LED light bar mounted to the front bumper in a flood pattern that gives me the close-up light. I'd also added LED strips to the sides of the footboards so I can see around the Raven plus a 4" LED bar on the rear bumper.
