Anyone know how to bypass the seat cut-off switch? I know its a safety feature, but is a pain the arse if you're on property with trees. Its REALLY common to be mowing, then need to jump off to to grab a stick and throw it in the trailer. I can trick it by stopping the blades, then put in generator mode, get off, get on, out of gen mode, spin the blades back up... But that really slows ya down.

I'm not sure how you would go about it. Hasn't really been an issue for me. But I can see how it could be annoying if you were off and on a bunch.

Its amazing what one can learn from reading the manual and watching the posted videos. It turns out that if you set the parking breaking you can jump off without the engine cutting off. I haven't tried it yet; maybe this weekend I'll mow. But its what the manual said. I'll post back with confirmation after I try it.

Hello! There are 2 relay switches under the seat. The #1 red/#4 purple (K8 relay) go to the deck PTO. The #2 green/#3 black is the (K10) relay seat switch. I would use the parking brake feature before bypassing the seat switches. But, a bad seat switch would kill everything! Ever fall off your Raven? Mine dies everytime I go over any big bumps!

I am 130lbs, my friend is close to 200. Neither of us could get the Raven to stay on with our weight in the seat so I dont know who these things are made for,.... but we first tried to bypass the switch electrically and could not manage the mystery. So we used a piece of wood strapped to the button/switch to keep it depressed. This also didnt void the warranty so huzzah! There was a youtube video on how to do it with a normal riding mower that we found helpful.
