I have an MPV 7100 that has had one blade that has work intermittently since the first day I brought it home. The Raven techs worked on it multiple times. Replaced the deck, control board, etc. I can rotate it around by hand and it starts up. Get it into heavy grass and and it'll stop and won't start back up. The other blade is fine. I pulled the deck and leaned it up against the Raven and plugged it up (I know that is unsafe, but I did it safely) and both blades spin. Is this a bad motor or Bad motor controller? Where can I get the part if I can identify one or the other?
Thanks Rescu2000

Most likely it is a bad motor controller. Do you have a volt meter? If so, I can walk you through how to test them. I have some controllers in stock.

Yes I have a meter. Any troubleshooting help would be appreciated. Perhaps we should do a how-to sticky thread.
Thanks!

Larry walked me through troubleshooting. I tracked it down to a broken wire but couldn't keep reproducing the problem. I may still have a bad blade motor controller but right now it's working. If it goes out I'm buying from Larry though since he was a huge help!!!

Glad to hear it is still working good for you. Thanks for the positive comment. Let me know if I can help you further.
Testing criteria is listed in the troubleshooting guide I posted about in an earlier thread that I am offering for a minimal fee.
