My replacement unit is running great right now, 13 months and 533 hours. The first unit lasted eight months and was really terrible.
I'm 22 months into the 36 month factory warranty. I do have the Amazon Square Trade four year extended warranty that kicks in late next year but have not talked to them. It was $211.46.
I have not heard anything about what support and warranty work will be going forward. Legally there should be some kind of customer protection plan. I no longer have Tech Tyler's phone number, it kept changing. I have a few spare parts squirreled away.
No need to panic just yet. Please post any pertinent information here please.

Denny, I also have the Square Trade Extended warranty. I don't know how good that will be if we should ever need it and no parts are available and no one services them.

For what it's worth, I was chatted with Square Trade today and he indicated they would honor the warranty now (instead of after the 36 month factory period). Just submit a claim. Getting someone to work on it and parts still remains the main issue. I am in protect mode and have terminated ATV style joy rides by my grandson and his buds UFN.

I guess I was lucky I ordered my parts 2 days before the really shut the doors. Now I guess I am in same boat as others but I do have spare parts like a deck complete spare motors for deck spare voltage regulator and a few other things plan to keep it for a while I now have it for 5 years and counting. I will keep it another 5 hopefully someone will come out with a total electric rider with a cut of 50 in or better LOL

Does anyone have info as to how SquareTrade will honor parts & service expenses that would be covered by warranty? If parts must be obtained through non-DGP sources, even if from a private individual, what will be required to secure SquareTrade payment? Am I correct in assuming that consumer will likely have to foot the bill and request reimbursement, or might it be possible for SquareTrade to pay the supplier, whomever that might be?

When I talked to them in July, they seemed willing to work with me. Did not get into specifics, give them a call. Post what you find out.
