My 2.5 year old Raven has two issues that based upon other forum responses, might require (a) new Voltage Regulator & (b) Carburetor replacement. I've attached a link to a video I took today when starting/driving it. It makes awful noises, gives off some black smoke, and pops out the muffler when turned off. I had changed the spark plug 2 weeks ago and it's completely black now (I cleaned it off again). I replaced the air filter, gave it a new 12V battery, put in a new 48V battery pack, changed the oil, and cleaned the carburetor. Also, the low battery light comes on when I'm mowing. As I'm driving/mowing, it stops every few minutes (the mower is still going), and then starts driving again (pedal pushed down the whole time). Then it happens again. I have the 48V charger and a new 48V pack, so it shouldn't be that. Can you let me know your thoughts? Where do I get these parts and directions on how to replace? I'm not sure if this is one or two issues. I don't have a Raven support site local to me and I know the company support line takes a while to get through. Thanks in advance! drive.google.com/file/d/1UXdF15Dbn090ETkCGvIFYT58Cnj_f4q4/view

I know where that is and haven't really played with it, but I'll take another look. Which way should it be? Pushed in all the way or pulled out all the way?

When you cleaned the carburetor, did you unscrew and inspect both jets? I had experienced my raven running rough, stalling numerous times during mowing, a little bit of smoke and backfiring (popping out of the muffler) every time I turned it off. I replaced the fuel filter, oil filter that feeds into the manual fuel pump and though it was the electronic fuel solenoid on the bottom of the carb. After taking the carb apart, we found the solenoid to be working, however, there was what appeared to be 3/4's of a tiny white plastic o-ring stuck up in the jet. It looked like a fingernail and I'm not sure what the heck it was. Almost appeared to be a small part of the original fuel filter or that oil filter, I'm not sure. Nothing else would have passed through the fuel line. Upon removal of that foreign piece (and a carb cleaning while we had it all apart), everything runs smooth once again. I did not take any pictures while the jets were removed.
