This has happened twice so far, it seems the oil dipstick is really loose now and keeps popping out when driving while running the engine. I checked and the rubber o-ring is intact. Once it just shutdown completely because the oil got so low from spraying out of the opening. This of course gets oil everywhere and that is not good. I shut down immediately and refilled it and cleaned it. I also didn’t run on the engine until everything had cooled down, just in case. I could zip tie it down but it seems strange that is has gotten so loose.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I experienced this last year. I zipped tied it up and when changing the oil this spring, I cut all the zip ties and tied the oil dip stick back down so this would not happen again (just didn't want to take a chance).

thinking are you sure your oil separator filter isn't bad causing back pressure

I ordered a filer separator and will see if there's any difference. However, just inserting the dipstick while the engine is not running, it's very easy to pull out. I had an extra thick o-ring (one you would use on a garden hose). It made it tight to insert, however, it's easy to pull right out. By cleaning up the o-rings with some carb cleaner or something to get any oil off, that may help make a more snug fit.
