The time has come for me to give up on my Raven. I'll be 77 yo on the first of the month and with no service support I can do less and less of the limited repair work myself. Seems I spend about as much time working on it as I do mowing. My 13 yo grandson want to mow with it but with the tight and slipping steering he doesn't last long, plus I'm afraid he will break something else.
Is is anyone buying these for parts or rebuild? Need parts? Ir's born on date is 10/13/15, hour meter is inop, always garaged.
The fall is is one of the best (cheapest) times to buy a mower, I am watching for a zero turn. A BRAND NAME!!!

Well, I’m back in the game. I replaced one blade motor controller, both blade motors and new blades. Finally got the deck level. A good cleaning a tuneup and all the usual maintenance items taken care of.
Both original motors had bent shafts, probably from hitting the Driveway lip. The blade would be1 inch lower on a 180 rotation.
I used my Dremel and cut off about a half inch of the spindle stud below the nut that holds the blade on. Hopefully fixed that.
Build date 10/13/2015. The hour meter is not working.
Stroller parts has been easy to work with.
