I've had the Raven since September 2016 and used it the latter part of the year to mow my 2.5 acres of hilly, oak-studded Hot Springs, Arkansas. Loved it. I used to have a guy come in with a tractor and brush hog once a month and mow the property, but I got sick of seeing what a shitty job $150 gets you. So I bought a Raven. Great choice. And a couple of days back, I mowed for the first time this year. The grass was about a foot high (it was double that when the Raven was delivered last year) and I was careful and slow, and always set the deck to its highest setting. But I missed seeing the 2" to 3" thick oak branch that the storm had knocked down, and mowed right over it. The mower deck stopped working, I got off, checked underneath, and pulled out a piece of wood that hat been severed from the branch and stuck between blade and housing. Shit. And the deck has not started since. What is it? I'm hoping it's the 100 amp fuses, Kim at DGP says it may be a damaged motor ($190 bucks, for the inquisitive). I have not been able to check the fuses yet, but know where they are. Anyone had a similar experience? What was it?
And Hi! I'm Peter, live in lovely Hot Springs, AR, and all the neighborhood kids who mow lawns for a kid living give me envious looks whenever I'm using the Raven.

Did you unplug the deck and put it in good and tight and try it again.
