So people are aware, just having the battery light come on is not really related to the AVR. The light is controlled by the PCB assembly and there is just a diode that tells the light to come on when it sees a certain voltage.

The light is controlled by the PCB assembly and there is just a diode that tells the light to come on when it sees a certain voltage. When mine comes on I assume it is due to my battery pack batteries being old. Some day I'll have to pony up and replace the batteries. I have taken the pack out and cleaned and tightened all of the connections...

More than likely if you have not seen issues in the past then it is battery related. Keep in mind that the diode on the board is set to different readings. Some PCB will cause the light to come on at 45v while others might be set at 48v. It could come on anywhere in between depending on the setting.

Hi there! I am new to the forum and I am so pleased that this forum was started. I have a Raven mower and so very happy with it and the way it cuts. However, lately it has been cutting and stopping and then goes a little while and stops. If I turn off the blades it will move forward and backward but eventually stop and I will have to let it run for 2 hours to charge before mowing another 400 sqft. I called today and they said it is likely the voltage regulator. Has anyone had this problem and are they easy to install. Has anyone installed these voltage regulators? I just want my mower to be running great again.

Hi there. Well my Raven is only supplying 22 volts to the 48 v battery pack and ac voltage on front panel will only dimly light a plugin bulb. I suspect the voltage regulator, where can I get one?

I have them. Send me an email to shawnee28021@gmail.com and I can walk you through checking a couple things. Keep in mind these are not plug and play. You will need instructions on how to set. Online sources probably do not provide but I do. I'll match or beat their pricing.

My Raven MPV-7100, goes a few feet and stops and keeps doing that unless you're going up hill it does nothing..could that also be the voltage regulator? On battery operation or engine power, same result..

More than likely the 48v battery pack is weak. Have you charged it either with a auxiliary charger or let the unit run for an hour or so just sitting still? If you have a voltmeter then measure the voltage of the battery pack.
Also make sure your oil level is good.
Not going to be the AVR unless the unit is not charging the batteries at all. If you need additional help, then email me a shawnee28021@gmail.com and I'll try to help you.

Hi. Have a 2016 Raven mpv 7100. Only 9 hrs. Was riding it, ran for a short time, then stopped. Engine ran, blades engaged, but would not move. Not forward or reverse. Runs good just wont move. What could be the problem? Where can we get parts if needed?

Are the battery's on the 48 volt system original? If so you need to drop them separate them in to each 12 volt pack and have them check I would bet there are junk.

If the deck engages while running but will not move F/R then most likely not the batteries. More likely a fuse, solenoid or a drive motor controller.
